Today (and throughout the week) it isnt just about the fracking... but the problems at the heart of our democracy that have made it our reality. Those problems are also causing other symptoms; from the back-door selling off of the NHS, the poor funding for education, the high costs of further education, TTIP (a trade agreement that will give big business the legal right to sue our government if it legislates in a way that threatens their potential profits ie: makes laws that protect communities!), wars (and the willingness to sacrifice soldiers as well as civilians) that are clearly about power and control of resources that just arent ours to kill and cause suffering for. Today we gather to raise awareness, to ask questions and to seek solutions... the government makes it clear we cant have any camping equipment in central London (unless youre lining up overnight for the latest iPhone then thats ok!) so will simply have to play it moment by unified moment and bring thermals
