Today around 100 Bags of wheat meant for making CHHATUA for the children in Anganwadi centres found buried at the backyard of ICDS office in Bhawanipatna. It is also seen that fire is being put to the food grains. Though the buried materials are having insects in it, but how 100 Bags (around 50 quintals) wheat got damaged in ICDS Bhawanipatna ? Who are the officials responsible for wastage of such huge amount of food grains meant for poor people ? The women and CD department officials (DSWO office and also in ICDS) in Kalahandi are involved in many illegal activities, never bother about the welfare of the people. I Think this damage of wheat is linked to the seizure of wheat from Madanpur Rampur ICDS last month which the DSWO and her officers tried and succeeded to hide the fact. Criminal cases must be initiated against the DSWO and her troop.
