Today as Ben, Molly and I sat in our living room talking suddenly a crazed man came into our home and stood in the middle of the living room. Our day guard, whom I am so thankful for, was grabbing him and trying to get him out of the house, but the man was fighting him all of the way. The man was talking crazy with wild wide open eyes that were penetrating. His eyes had the look of a crazed person, of someone totally demon possessed. It was chilling to see the way he was looking at us as he rambled incoherently. It made my the hair on my skin rise up! The guard and Ben were finally able to drag him out of the house and began to pull him toward our gate. The guard was pulling on him as the man was fighting to get away and re-enter the house. At the gate the man grabbed a hold of the metal door and tried to hold on and fight his way back in. We were finally able to close and bolt the gate as the guard took him outside. At one point the man began to pound on the gate and was mumbling randomly as he did so. John was upstairs at the guesthouse while most of this all unfolded. Later John tells me that the man lives across the street and his elderly father is his caretaker. John says he is not right but generally is docile, unlike today. This makes me even more uneasy as now that he has come into our home once he may well do so again, and maybe even while John is gone with teams and I am here alone! Once again I think of all of those who pray for us and I cannot tell you enough how much your prayers mean to us, to me personally. Please add to your prayer list that this man will not come into our home again and that as John travels so often the Lord will continue to protect our home while he is gone. Anyone who has met Teddy, our german shepherd, knows that he is a great guard dog, and although he was right there when this occurred he did not bark even once, and did not seem at all concerned. This is so out of character for him that I cannot help but think the man was indeed possessed. I do not know what Teddy would have done if the man had tried to hurt me, but having the large guard dogs is a comfort. I will be glad when Yankee is older too for sure! But nothing is more powerful than prayer! I want to ask for you to pray that this man will stay away from our home, out of our house, for angels to guard our compound, for safety, and for peace for me as this was very disconcerting for me today. :) Thank you for your love and prayers! You have no idea how much they mean to me!
