Today as I sat in the funeral service for my 93 year old uncle, I - TopicsExpress

Today as I sat in the funeral service for my 93 year old uncle, I could not help but let my mind wander and think how amazing it was to live to be that old and still be able to take care of the cows, plant watermelons, deliver watermelons, teach Sunday school and all the other things that needed doing.. Simply amazing...The Dyess children sure do have that longevity gene.. I hope and pray that I have that gene and that I can still do those kind of things when I am that old. Two things that the preacher said today that stuck with me: 1. Its not the number of days you have on this earth, but what you do with them that is important! 2. Comfort each other and seek comfort in The Lord family is important and you should be there for each other! Praying that we all make a point to spend more time together.. Life is brief... Sleep well.. And if I failed to tag any other family in here it was completely unintentional.... Love to all..
