Today as I was coming into Dancing Cranes I had a bad fall. I mean one of those belly plop face hit the floor falls. I wound up pulling the muscles in both heels of my feet. Hitting my knees hard, making the bad one worse and the good one bad. Scraping my belly and elbow and slightly bruising my hip. A fall like that can shake anybody, and it surely did me, but I got up and MaryAnn Moore and I put up the participants wall for the fair and I went into readings. MaryAnn said, you will feel that fall later… I felt it after it was over, but boy do I feel it now. Despite that it was a great day of readings. I set back laughing at myself thinking how everything was a blur as I was falling down. Suddenly I found myself thinking of things I was grateful after the fall, and that made me laugh harder. My mind started saying things like • I’m grateful MaryAnn was there and another handsome man came over to help me up. Nothing takes your eyes off pain like a helpful handsome young guy coming to the rescue. I should have stayed down longer. • I’m grateful that I was still able to walk. I now had a reason for walking like a penguin. • I’m grateful for a big belly to break my fall…somewhat. There are times that you can be happy for extra padding. • I’m grateful that it hurt so much that I forgot about the itching. Yahoo for the mind focusing on one thing at a time. • I’m grateful for the fact that after I fell the only bag I was holding onto was my purse. A women knows what important. • I’m grateful that people was not looking at me strangely as I set laughing about all of the above. I was ready to tell them I’m psychic and my spirit guides was telling me a joke. • I’m above all grateful to know that if you allow it, the universe will come in and turn a bad thing into something to smile about. And that’s actually happened as I penguin walked to my reading area… I groaned and chuckled with a smile.
