Today as of last year 11/06/2012, I woke up exactly at 5:43am. First thing, I did was open my eyes. Second, turned my head. Third, I looked at Ana thinking I wish I can turn back the clock just to a few more hours. Honey was running late, our ride to the airport was running late, and so, Anna took us to the airport. As sad and painful it was to say goodbye, I didnt cry. I hugged Anna goodbye, walked into the airport, and watched her drove off. Checked in Honey, told her to be a good girl on the plane, and Ill see her when she lands in California. Went back on the main floor of the airport, surprisingly I saw Glorie and Xao. It was probably 6:30ish in the morning. Didnt sit and talked to them long enough, because my parents and I were already running late to our plane as well. We checked in and got on our plane at 7:59am. We all got into our seats and as I was buckeling up, thats when it all hit me... I was moving to California. My mom walked over to me and said Its a brand new start. Youll be okay. I slept throughout our whole plane ride, but for is seems like a really long ride. We landed in California at 12:12pm. Today 11/06/2013, marks the one year that Ive moved to California. Its been a year since Ive seen the friends that I grew up w/ . Its been a year since Ive really played football. Its been a year since Ive visited my high-school. Its been a year since Ive seen my teachers. Its been a year since Ive been to a Hmong store. Its been a year since Ive been to a Hmong flea market. Its been a year since Ive traveled back and fourth on White Bear Ave and University Ave. Lol. Its been a year since Ive had good pho. Its been a year since Ive gone clubbing. Its been a long year of new changes. But during this long year ~ Ive met new people, made new friends, gotten closer to some, and made a few enemies. Ive seen true colors of people, learned how to forgive, let go, and move on w/ life. & that I dont regret. Born in California and rasied in Minnesota. #Home #is #where #the #heart #is #at.
