Today as we remember Prophet Mohammeds (PBOH) birth, it is significant to mention a few things about his life. Born in Mekkah at about 571 AD, he started life as an Orphan.He passed through various stages of life as Family man, a prophet, Stateman, General, Emancipator etc successfully. The Islamic faith he preached has very close to two billion adherents today through out the world. His teachings based on the Quran has brought peace development and progress to the world. His greatest Miracle is the Quran which deals with all aspect of human endeavour. Surprisingly, more verses of the glorious Quran draws our attention to nature than prayers, fasting,pilgrimage etc put together. This perhaps explain why scientific theories discovered two or three centuries are found in the Quran which has been in existence about 1400 years ago. Whilst I wish all Muslim faithful a happy Moulud, how I wish we demonstrate sincerely the teachings of this great prophet of Allah.
