Today at 10 a.m. eastern the NASCAR Foundation announced that New Hampshire CASA volunteer Lisa Hall is one of only four finalists competing for $100,000 in prize money from the foundation through its Betty Jane France Humanitarian Award. All finalists received $25,000 to give to the charity of their choice. Should she win the full $100,000, Lisa will designate funds to CASA for Children (National CASA) to increase volunteer recruitment and training. NASCAR will be devoting substantial media and advertising resources to this contest. Whether we win or not, all of our CASA programs stand to benefit from the increased attention during the contest. The winning cause will derive far greater benefit. If selected, Lisa Hall will spend the next year in the NASCAR spotlight—spreading the word about the CASA cause all the while. Please vote for Lisa! nascar/award
