Today at Noon join us as we open our newest exhibit: Washington County Goes to War honoring the legacy of World War One and Two. Starting at noon today, we are hosting a special opening day event featuring a Color Guard from American Legion Post #6, Mayor Jerry Willey, Alisha Hamel of the Historic Outreach Foundation introducing our special guest: Leonard DeWitt of the famed 41st Infantry Jungleers Division in World War 2. Light refreshments will be served, 1:00 p.m. a special screening of the documentary about The Jungleers will be shown. All Veterans and Military admitted free today and throughout the month of November. 120 E Main, 2nd floor above Starbucks in Civic Center Plaza Building downtown Hillsboro.
