Today at Yoga I met a delightful woman named Pam & in one conversation I learned that her husband is in a band BIG CAT BLUES (We will see them play live in Newport tomorrow!)& her daughter is MARY RAND, who is a 22 year old Professional Snow Boarder, from RI - Awesome! I decided to gather more information on her for my Girl Scouts & the great info keeps on coming. Pam also mentioned this artist Alela Diane introduced to her through her daughter Mary. Alela has a song called Oh Mama & Oh Mama is it a goodie! Ive already downloaded it for tomorrows Yoga playlist! n the meantime, take a moment to listen to Alelas childhood friend Mariee Sioux. beautiful music Such beautiful connections made at the end of one Yoga class, this morning! WOMEN ENCOURAGING WOMEN! :-)
