Today at the Sweet Desires Maid Cafe and Cosplay Pageant...I had the most incredible experience. One of the judges told me, Good job, on my ACU cosplay that I took 2 and a half weeks to create. It gave me a sense of validation that my hard work wasnt in vain. That for my first time ever sewing, I wasnt too bad. I went up on stage, for the first time. Insecure as hell about what people would think of me and my amateur made costume...and...For all 3 cosplays, the supportive screams from the crowd just overwhelmed me. I felt...I felt something in my heart. Like I just wanted to hug and kiss everyone for being so amazingly supportive. I actually did do that to a few people. Caps Cosplay got the first hug of relief backstage.lol I want to specially thank Xcalibur Allegra, Chenchen Nekohime for being such great hostesses. And to thank you. My adoring fans whove liked my page and my progress photos and have given me the support I needed to pull through with this. I didnt win the competition though, congrats again Sheldon, but winning the hearts and more importantly the support, which I needed, from all of you...Theres no trophy that can replace that.
