Today at work I shed tears of joy when I heard the story of very young girls, barely in their early 20s. They just graduated high school and are in the Computer engineering department of JKUAT in Kenya, I feel like dancing and walking on the moon because they have innovated a software solution that goes like this: To END Malaria, their creative genius programmed software to deploy sound in the range of 16 KHz to 20 KHz that has the ability to repel mosquitoes. I am honored that they reached out to me requesting for mentorship and I felt truly humbled by their requests! These girls will be crossing the Atlantic ocean and I will be meeting them in Silicon Valley with other Women in Technology Careers where they will be presenting their solutions to Innovators in the home of everything tech--- Facebook etal! When others are busy trashing education because God said He does not need it to bless them, Others read the verse in Genesis which gives us dominion and realized you cannot dominate anything that you do not understand accurately. Dominion is getting tired of malaria and controlling the wonderful mosquitoes to keep us safe. #STEM Subjects for girls! Wohooo....
