Today, because Im behind, I get to choose two carols. My first Carol of Choice for today: Hope was Born this Night by Sidewalk Prophets. I love it because the quiet confidence of the music is just reassuring. As with many of the carols I choose, (perhaps, if youve been following, you sense a trend), I just find in it a sense of hope and - as I say - reassurance that I am *not* alone, and that He truly is there and with me. Some of you know that I have had some up close and personal experiences of this type - yet, even still, I seek this constant, childlike, reaffirmation - almost like a little kid checking to make sure that a parent is still right there. I *know* Hes there. But I still like to hear it. Of course, that is why He left His word and the Spirit - but for me, music is critical, and so I love this song, and so many others.
