Today began with a GHMS group meditation, then a meditation with Karen and White Taras healing quality Sensitivity. It was a loving precursor to the very heart filled day. First we went to the Bali-wise school for young women, where they learn skills to hopefully have a life free from poverty. They must leave their families to attend, even though their families cannot afford it and they want these girls at home to work and contribute to the familys finances. I found it awe inspiring how hard they have to work for a different life from their parents, how much they sacrifice in order to be the change. I gave one young woman a heart shaped rose quartz crystal and she was beside herself in the joy of receiving. So honoured to be there today, to see where the fundraisers dollars went that Velva Dawn orchestrated. Then we toured an affiliate program, the ROLE Eco Park where they are contributing their time and effort into a sustainable future for Bali. It was interesting to hear their plans for the future and I even purchased a hand woven scarf. Here, they are also teaching women about business, and giving them the skills to hopefully become entrepreneurs, whether it be through their weaving, organic gardening or making soap. I really enjoyed the reforestation station, and purchased a tree to be planted in my name. Gratitude for what I have in life, and being in a position to give a little to this foundation was my gift today
