Today bjp mla from Jabalpur District Smt. Pratibha Singhs son opened fire at Congress workers due to which 5 Congress workers were badly injured. BJP MLA Shrimati Pratibha Singhs family has a history of indiscriminate firing since very long and people of Jabalpur are acustomed of hearing such incidents now - more perticularly during election season. Pratibha Singhs family happen to be a big Jamiindar in this area and firing can take place either in land disputes or may be due to political rivalry. The state bjp goverment is hardly seen in taking any steps as this family holds political key in its hand . With this incident the election fortunes of bjp candidate Rakesh Sing becomes bleak and Congress Candidate Vivek Tankha are brighten enough to reduce margin of win or loss on 16th May 14.
