Today definitely has a holidays are over and now lets get on with it feeling. Im a Capricorn, if youre into astrology, and while Im not I cant help but see that the work ethic, drive and focus ascribed that sign describe me. Ive always (I mean for the last 20 years or so!) made a ritual retreat on New Years day, journaled by myself, reviewed the year before and marked progress on my goals, thought about what i wanted to manifest in the coming year and wrote it down...but this year? I spent all New Years Eve, happily writing. And New Years Day happily writing, with breaks to go to the gym and eat healthy food and kiss the hubby now and again. I am in a season of life, at the brink of fifty, when all the personal work I did for all those other years is coming to fruition. It feels amazing to have no new goals, nor need for them, because Im living my dreams. I hope that doesnt sound braggy. I hate sounding braggy. I mean it to sound like encouragement. Its a very good thing to have goals and focus. Its by doing that for a very long time that I got to leave them behind. Got any New Year resolutions, insights, or plans youd like to share?
