Today during a free hour after school my 2 entrepreneurs started their leaf raking business! They have 3-4 jobs lined up for tomorrow starting at 8am, they have a few first in line on Sunday if it doesnt rain, they get the next 2 weekends off because theyll be out of state for one of those and out of town for another, but thats OK because they already have multiple jobs for Saturdays and Sundays after that to fill December & were still getting messages!!! This was an idea the two of them had to make money so they can buy each other and their other siblings Christmas presents! Kristina went out yesterday with the last of her money she made on her last babysitting job and bought 2 good rakes & gloves for her & Kimberly & large bags for those that want their leaves bagged. I have to say, Im proud of them! Theyre giving up their weekends not because they have to, but because they want to. They are so serious about this & have said theyll go out as early as 7am & work until 5pm if they need! They both have so much drive & dedication but Im pointing out Kristina because she is of age to work a job... its sad she cannot find one. If more people had their motivation, dedication and desire to work this world would be in a much better state! With this being said, if youre interested in getting your leaves raked, they are charging $20 per (standard) yard & you have the option of them bringing the leaves un-bagged or bagged to the road or bagging them up & hauling them off for you! If you have a larger yard, a price can be negotiated. I manage their schedule and appointments (as for non-friends I do have to see that we have mutual friends and get feedback from those I trust on them) - so message me.
