Today, fifty years ago the United States of America experienced the most gruesome tragedy; a tragedy that has haunted the pages of history books, television, magazines, and even eyewitnesses for many, many years. A tragedy that caused a place hallowed by surrounding countries to be the most independent, the strongest, and the most powerful to mourn! A tragedy which caused the words of her fathers true and bright, this nation under God to bow in humble submission to what she speaks proudly on paper: In God We Trust! The assassination of a man, a son, a brother, a husband, a father, a war hero, a Senator, yes, An American President! While many of us are generations displaced from that horrific day, still we pause to honor a man whose only plea was for all Americans to do for their Country! We pause to honor the Life, the Legacy and the Memory of the Thirty Fifth President of the United States of America, President John Fitzgerald Kennedy, the peoples President!
