Today has been a better day. Bill’s counts are recovered, and he has a doctor’s appointment scheduled for Thursday. Dana is a little concerned over Bill’s cough and the sound of his lungs. Dana said “I’m going to have the infectious disease doctor come listen to your lungs and let him decide if we need to keep sending you home with antibiotics infusers. His name is Dr. Rico. In my mind and perhaps to others (Dana and Pam), I laughingly called him Dr. Rico Sauvé…….. He was Spanish, mid 30’s and for you younger women he was a wee bit easy on the eye. I sat and listen to Dr. Rico (Sauvé) visit with Bill; he was very cordial and he took the time to answer all of Bill’s questions. Bill had a CT scan this afternoon on his lungs, Dr. Rico will discuss results tomorrow in infusion 4. I’m Trusting God’s plan. Tonight I received a message on Facebook from someone I have never met before. She has follow Bill’s and my post on “Bill’s daily news”. Her and her husband walks the same journey as Bill and I. Her husband is the patient and like me, she is the care giver. The only difference that stands between her husband and Bill is Bill’s faith. Unlike her, Bill and I, the husband is a non-believer or perhaps is a believer but doesn’t rely on God. I cried when I read this………. How does one walk this journey without trusting and knowing God? I can’t imagine life without God’s presence in everything we do…….. To me the easiest thing in this world is asking Jesus into your heart. 1. Ask God to forgive you of your sins and • You don’t have to list all your sins; God already knows all of them. • No sin is too big for him to forgive. “He is GOD!” 2. Invite Christ into my heart. It saddens me immensely, to read about someone who chooses to walk this journey without God……. She also shared his counts are not favorable for Stem cell transplant. I’m asking for prayers: His counts rebound, praying for good reports on his bone marrow biopsy. Praying for God’s light to shine through his wife. Praying for peace, strength and wisdom for her….. Praying that he understands, God is walking beside him, in front of him and sometimes carrying him on this journey. Praying for his wife, it’s difficult being the care giver……… As Bill and I waited on lab reports today, the caregiver across from us shared how she had to work as a nurse to keep health insurance, “My FML is finish and I need to go back to work, I carry insurance on us, so far the hospital hasn’t fired me for not coming back to work…..” She hesitated, and started to smile and said “as much as I dislike this journey, it is amazing what God can do when you rely solely on him!” “He’s taken care of us so far, I know he’ll work this out to.” “God is good and tomorrow will be a better day” Peace and Blessings, Kim John 3 16-17 NLT 16“For God loved the world so much that he gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. 17God sent his Son into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through him.
