Today has been a big but quiet day for Damien. He is handling his trach ok when he is not trying to pull it out. They took his feeding tube out for npo for surgery and took his mittens off for a couple of hours until he got a little ramy. They sat him up in a chair today and Damien stood and pivoted into it with help of course. He has slept hard all day .i think he is preparing hisself for tomorrow. He is using a urinal with help. He sweats a lot I have to keep wiping his forehead which he sleeps right thru . He opens a eye a crack to be sure I am there, then goes back to a good slept . I am so glad he has rested today . Keep prayers and thoughts coming they r working and brings me healing and comfort myself as much as for Damien love to u all
