Today has been a devastating day for Jews around the world. A conclusion to a week that has sadly been filled with horror stories coming out of Europe for all people. We stand together with Jews and non-Jews alike in France and offer a prayer as we are about to welcome shabbat. Sometimes we feel like there is nothing we can do - nothing substantial that will make a difference when we hear of such tragedies. We recommend finding something extra to do this shabbat/weekend. Something as small as giving an extra dollar to charity, inviting a friend over for a meal, going to a synagogue service, or even calling your parents/grandparents for a quick hello can make a difference that will help make the world a better place little by little. Here is a link to a psalm (Hebrew/English/transliterated) you can recite in memory of those that have been killed and in hopes of full recovery to those that have been injured. dailytehillim/Tehilim/Pdf/Both121.pdf
