Today has been a little better for DJ. He was still having withdrawals and pretty loopy. By early afternoon he was finally responding to us. Just as we were getting him comfortable, they took him in to place the PICC line to treat the infection for several weeks. They sedated him for the procedure. It went pretty quick and very well. Been sleeping again for most of the evening. We are really hoping that he is through the worst of it and things go uphill from here on and that he will be released in the next couple days. He is one tough kid! We really appreciate everyones comments and concerns, for treats and goodies dropped off for Bridger and Nash and for the visits!
