Today has been a long day, filled with a range of emotions. Pat, Melinda Middleton, Daddy and I left at 7:00 am for Waco. We attended the funeral service for my 6 month old little cousin, Rhett Rodgers. What an impact he made on so many lives in his short 6 months here on earth. His father, Matt Rodgers, gave the sweetest and love filled account of the past 6 months. Their pastor gave his testimony to the fresh new way he now views the most well known verse in the Bible. John 3:16. What love the Father has for us, to willingly give His only Son for our Salvation. After this we traveled back home to our family cemetery where little Rhett was laid to rest. What a touching moment when my cousin Marsha, lovingly comforted Sarah Collins Rodgers. Marsha has lost 3 babies and 1 grown son. The love overflowed from her broken heart and into Sarahs breaking heart. Dear Lord, bring comfort to my sweet family. Danny Rodgers, Jill Rodgers, Caitlin Rodgers, we love you so.
