Today has been a long day, it started at 6.30am with cleaning, weighing, monitoring, injecting, chasing (Berty) bathing the twins and feeding all before work, then after work I collected 2 hoggies on the way home (slight detour) I got home checked, feed and monitored all patients before setting to work on both newbies. Sadly the biggest girl from Dickleburgh has died, she was in so much pain that I administered pain relief and she quietly slipped away, I will never know what was wrong with her but she was fitting and struggling to breathe when I collected her. The other little girl from Harleston has the usual suspects, lungworm, roundworm and fluke, she has picked up with the life saving heat mat so thank you to everyone who has bought us a heat mat from the Amazon wishlist, currently I have 5 heat mats plugged in and saving the lifes of our sickest patients. The heating it on for he other juveniles to stop them hibernating, after all that is why they are here! Xx
