Today has been a real inspiration; building the dream for our future, actively being the change we want to see in the world. Its been a week since my family and I made it down to the site, and how lucky we were - greeted by a glorious day and glorious people! First challenge of the day was digging a 2 metre hole for the long drop compost loo (as you can see in the photos). Half way down we dug into a spring, so we are going to have to re think where the loo is placed! We dug up a lot of clay however and this can be put to much use. The kids were wonderful, running around having so much fun! They planted some organic seeds ready for when the poly tunnel is up. Leasa painted our road side sign Free food and energy project and Sammy managed to get it up so locals have a sense of whats going on. We also got a whole load of filming done for the documentary. The site is still looking bare yet promising. We are incredibly lucky, the site has a beautiful energy which is getting stronger everyday with everyone bringing so much LOVE to it! The fresh air, the sense of building something for US, for our community, for our families, is amazing. Its a reality now - as long as people continue to bring their LOVE and support (and a shovel ha!)I whole heartily recommend getting involved, I havet felt this alive and proactive in years; come, be the change YOU want to see in the world! This is it guys!
