Today has been a very productive and interesting day. We had our first Annual Board Retreat for Have Faith Be Strong. It was a full day retreat and was very productive. After the retreat is when things got interesting. We decided to take Samuel to a movie after he patiently waited for the retreat to end. After looking at the movie choices we decided to go to Beyond Sight. We didnt know anything about this movie but it sounded more interesting than the others. We sat through this movie and were inspired by the main character Derek. Derek is a blind surfer from Brazil who traveled to California and Hawaii in order to fulfill his dream of surfing with the best surfers and surfing the Pipeline. At the end of the movie we were surprised to see the US Open Surfing Champion and got to take a picture with him. Our good friend and fellow Have Faith Be Strong Board Member, Gary Olive, joined us and took this picture. This is part 1 of this story. It gets more interesting as it goes.
