Today has been an awesome day and I must give God the glory for this is His doing and it is absolutely marvelous in our eyes. Elder Anthony Shans was appointed Pastor of The White Temple Church of God in Christ therefore making yours truly Cheree Shans the First Lady. Im honored, excited, happy, overjoyed and so much more. The elevation is bittersweet for me because of the late First Lady Vera Winbush that I was privileged to serve and sit under her teachings for many years never thinking this day would come. I shall never forget what you taught me and with the help of The Lord I shall serve, minister to and love Gods people. Pastor Shans I support you 100%!!! Mooretown & the City of Shreveport get ready White Temple Church of God in Christ is on a mission bringing Jesus to the streets & building up the Kingdom of God. Bishop Roy H. Winbush, thank you for the opportunity to serve at a historical church we wont let you down. We are humbled and grateful but now its time to terrorize the devil.
