Today has been an interesting day. I spent much of the day thinking and writing about racism, insensitivity, and ir/responsible journalism. And then after Avery went to bed, the last couple hours reading some interesting blogs. And learned a lot. About new sensitivity levels, new and intelligent ideas (new to me) on prejudice, discrimination, and racism, and the whole recent concept of Social Justice with capital SJ. And therere apparently groups of people who consider themselves Anti Social Justice, which Ive still got to find out more about. Perhaps my favorite part was reaffirming that I still have a thirst for new knowledge, even on unpleasant subjects. And it was a little vindicating seeing peoples reaction when I stated that I actually wanted to learn about it, and invited people to change my mind... I had one person swear up and down that she knew what was in my mind more than I did. Oh, well. Anyway, heres one of the blogs Id never seen before today: racismschool.tumblr/
