Today has been an interesting day with the spectrum of the many journeys with cancer that is affecting various family members at this time. Our sister-in-law Nancy completed the last treatment for breast cancer and will be having a double mastectomy within the next month. Please continue to add her to your prayer lists and thoughts as she is facing the next aspect of the treatment journey. Today I have read the posts on the page for Ben and in great sadness, my heart is breaking for his parents, siblings, grandparents, great grandparents along with aunts/uncles and cousins. It is so hard to read the blog that Mindy has written and the writings that she shares are very heart touching to so many. Ben has touched so many in the Buffalo area and my heart aches for everyone in the family. Finally today Randy had his appointment for survivor clinic and basically it was more or less a review of treatment that he had received. Instruction about what is going on in the future etc. I think that I will feel better about things after the next scan in August since there were still some areas that were showing on the PET scan. It is easier to deal with these things from a medical perspective than a personal perspective. Please continue to uphold all three of my family that is being touched by cancer and are currently on different places on the road that is being shown to them-Nancy, Ben and Randy.
