Today has been one emotional day. Walking past the jewellers today and Steve Hill walked me in and asked for my mothers dress ring to be restored to its former glory. This ring hasnt left my finger since the day mum died and was so tough for me to take off. It was her mothers ring , gold and full of red garnets but nan sold the stones to feed her 12 children(im sure i counted right) when times were hard. This is my birthday present from the most sensitive,caring, romantic man i have ever known, what a tribute to my mum and nan. I have to wait four weeks to get it back but will wear it every day as mum did and her mum before her. I am a lucky lady!!! Xxx
