Today has been one of those days where I remember that I have a ridiculously optimistic attitude at times. Reading lesson went good with the kids, the math lesson completely sucked but somehow even my low kids understood it and got it done, (we never get through a whole lesson in one day- and it miraculously happened), and then on my way home determined to get caught up on homework. I was driving around the Deer Park round about when a person who was entering it seemed to forget youre supposed to YIELD to those IN the round about so I had to hit the brakes and go onto the curb to miss their bumper, which in turn popped my passenger tire. Of course I dont have a spare and its raining. All I could do was laugh at myself since Ive been fortunate enough for the last five years of telling myself I need to get one and continuing to forget. So I limped it to Les Shwab 1/2 a mile away and they sold me a used tire and balanced my tire too. I was on my way to get coffee to bust a move on my homework, so I walked to get my coffee during my wait, and came home to do my homework. I let only two thoughts occupy my mind, 1) There was no accident and I am okay, so it could have been worse 2) This will not ruin my day, I will get what I need to done. Its so great to have the support system I have, I love you all!
