Today i lost a man that i loved and respected very much my father Roger Svoboda. He spent the last 6 years of his life in the VA hospital in the spinal care unit long term care. He was a parapalegic caused from a previous surgery and spent his days in either a bed or a wheelchair. He had many other medical issues as well but he never complained he never gave up on hope that he would walk again, drive a car or fly a plane, or just be able to go home to Florida. He never waivered in his faith or love of God or that God was letting him down. He was someone who seems to have overly believed in tough love when I was a kid and if it wasnt for tough love I would not be the man I am today. I owe you so much Dad that can never be repaid. Your with Mom now and your walking and Im sure you have a tee time. Rest Dad your job done I love you and will always miss you and I hope I can live up to the man you were.
