Today i want to appreciate 3 special, very special people who God decided that i would be me without them. First is my late grandfather, John Kalimwayi Chapata III Mipando. He was one special dude and he named me Chapata IV, kuchikweza kuthila madzi amabwelela. Full of life and drama. He taught me that munthu wamkulu sungakhalile kumadya masamba ngati mbila. He travelled from Malawi to Jozi without paying a penny, so he said. Died a couple of years ago at the age of 96 and am truly honoured to have met such a ngoni warrior and he left his walking stick with me symbolising passing on of authority. Then there is Mai Mbewe & Bambo Gama, parents anyone would have wanted in life. Full of sacrifice for the betterment of their kids Mwapatsa Mipando, Mveleni Chris Mipando, Jeremiah Kangombe, Thandie Mipando-Phulusa. I pray for Gods continued blessings upon their lives!!!!!!!!
