Today i was waiting for my friend near a petty shop in Madurai. I thought of talking to the shop owner to get to know public mood as a politician. So asked the shop owner for bovonto 1litre bottle. He said he only has pepsi, coke, or fanta kind of things. I asked for price and mentioned i get good deal in Big bazar. The shop owner was telling that these UPA and current NDA is killing us by bringing the foreign companies( he was mentioning FDI in retail ). After his 10mins of curse on congress and slightly about BJP i asked him when Torino, Kalimark, and Bovonto asked you petty shops to support them you denied, betrayed them, cheated them and sold Pepsi and coco cola only because they gave you more margins and the heros or cricketers are acting for them after getting crores. What right you have to ask the government to support or protect you against big retail chains like Walmart. It was there in my mind for quiet some time now but created an opportunity now to ask them. What happens to my neighbor is for me tomorrow. The shop owner shut his mouth and gave me pepsi because he does not have bovonto in his shop. I bought it and poured on the street he returned me my money and said, next time he will sell me bovonto. Ulloor Madu nalla vilaikuku pohadhu my father used say me many times when our local people fail to recognize our good work. Its true but heros like bovonto and torino just dont bow down. they will carry forward untill when they could fight like a Knight win or lose they fight and they are remembered and praised . I am determined to be a knight to fight for real and good things. Hope our people change before lecturing, they do follow or keep quiet.
