USCINCCENT reports that the Iraqi’s protect their Scuds by dispersing their mobile erector launchers (MELS), moving the MELs mainly at night for launches near sunset or sunrise, and concealing the MELS and Scuds in buildings or in camouflaged, earth-covered trenches.
