Kennedy International Airport) was dedicated by U.S. President Harry Truman (1948); the 1st All Star Game tie was recorded (1961); U.S. space probe Ranger 7 transmitted pictures of the moon’s surface to Earth (1964); the 1st men to ride in a vehicle on the moon (1971); and Soviet President Mikhail Gorbachev and U.S. President George H.W. Bush signed the Strategic Arms Reduction Treaty (1991).
