Today in Puerto Rico: - Up early, which is a particularly lovely part of the day. Headed to El Yunque Rain Forest. Beautiful! Many waterfalls, rivers and pools. Lovely bird song. Didnt hear or see any frogs. Weirdly, it did not rain the entire day, even though it almost always rains there. - Stopped at Loquilla on the way home. It has a ton of food kiosks on the beach. Kiosk is an understatement, as many of them are full-service, sit down restaurants. We at at a Peruvian Ceviche Hut and had - Ceviche :) Also muscle paella and tostones (fried plantains). - On the way home, we found the local ice cream parlor. I had a scoop of coconut and a scoop of chocolate ice cream. The seating was all swinging patio benches, which was a nice touch. - It did finally rain at night, but we were already in for the evening! elyunque/about.html
