Today in Sydney (Australia), thousands of people marched in protest of the grossly under reported attacks on Coptic Christians and their properties in Egypt by the Muslim Brotherhood (MB) and associated groups. The MB have also reported killed over 100 policemen, damaged other State buildings and institutions and looted 1040 Ancient Egyptian Artefacts from the Malawi Museum. The Australian Coptic Movement Association organised the rally in conjunction with 13 other Egyptian Associations and NGOs. This was NOT a rally against Islam, rather it was a rally against the Muslim Brotherhood, who are acting under the guise of a political party, when in reality they are trying to tear the very fabric of Egyptian society and nationalism, namely through violent actions and by causing sectarian strife. This wonderful image depicts Muslims and Christians hand-in-hand protesting against the horrific circumstances underway in Egypt. This is the Egypt that we know and love. This is the Egypt we want!
