Today in honor of National Infant and Child Lost remembrance day I want to remember Thomas Elliot Reicher. It was just over a month ago that my Godson Thomas was taken to heaven. What many of you may not know is I lived with my sister during her pregnancy. It was a tough year to begin with and many days were spent talking to Thomas and feeling him kick and move inside his mommy. We had a special connection before he arrived. When Nichole called to say it was time to go to the hospital I was ecstatic I couldnt wait to finally hold him. My heart was instantly broken when I heard that something just wasnt right. Thomas only was here with us for 28 days and every chance I got I was there with him holding him, reading stories, and listening to music. I was truly blessed to be asked to be his Godmother. Its still hard everyday thinking of all the things that will never be. Yet, I know we have the most perfect angel looking down on us. I love you Thomas! Tonight we will release balloons to light the sky for not only for Thomas but as a remembrance of every infant and child that was taken too soon.
