Today in morning walk (Defense Park ,Infantry road) I could not resist my curiosity to meet a 70plus woman who is very hard working whom I have been seeing since past few days….. calling her AJJI (Grand ma in Kannada) , I started my conversation….. Kempamma came to Bangalore when she was 28 n she said there was no Vidhana Soudha building also….. her daughter passed away in an accident few years back n hence she has taken d responsibility of her grand-son….. she has 5 cattle n she is running d home with them….. she was cutting grass amidst huge net of mosquitoes….. she said Bangalore was once so clean never saw mosquitoes in her youth….. she attributed her strength (though physically she is half-bent , she is still able to work whole day) to Ragi ball n said it proudly lightly thumping her fists into air….. after few minutes conversation she said she has to rush to market n took leave from me addressing me “Chinna”….. she inspired me a lot in many ways….. owning responsibility , self-pride n confidence, hard-working , friendly attitude n time-sense tooooo….. I returned to my walking track after complimenting her that she is a source of inspiration :-)
