Today in the House Committee on Natural Resources, I spoke with Fish and Wildlife Services Director Dan Ashe about the potential endangered species listing for the greater sage grouse. There is some room for optimism in Ashe’s comments when he said that while he was in Craig, Colorado he, “saw really the kind of partnership and cooperative approach that it takes to conserve a bird like the sage grouse, which is why I can be optimistic that we have the chance to get a ‘not warranted determination’ on the sage grouse.” Watch the full exchange here:
