Today in the mat i decided NEVER to panda that mat again.. i am telling you i have never gotten so bored on the road...! good gracious..! the driver must have been born in 1912 and fought in world war 1 - i kid you not.. he was not elderly, he was old - FULL STOP..! and he was driving like it - PAINFULLY SLOW.. i tried to find humor in how he was looking carefully at every passing car as they all overtook us... he looked very impressed for some reason or the other so i tried to read his mind.. at least that would make me black out from how we were NOT moving.. his thoughts must have been going something like (insert SLOW brain activity) hiyo subaru ilijengwa nikiona, huyo dereva wa minibus ni mimi nilimuonesha kazi - amezaliwa nikona hivi na macho.. siku za Kenyatta hungepata polisi wakihongwa kama siku hizi.. my thoughts could not hide the fact that my journey was taking longer than expected with people alighting every 2 centimeters at the common stage called HAPO - SHUKISHA HAPO.. i decided to engage my mind again in what might be your poll question in the news tonight... yes - those poll questions that totally waste brain cells and Vitamin-THINK.. how do you think matatus get their route numbers? from the famous routes 44,45,11,23, 100, 145, 237 and some weird routes like 1960 which sound like a year of independence etc..please SMS your brief cooment, your name and which route your texting from and we will send you a shoutout after this live newscast..
