Today in the morning I visited hon senator lessan Wilfred in his home. we spend a lot of time chatting with mheshimiwa. Solutions to the problems facing tea lies in the hands of the following: 1. Government of Kenya 2. Members of parliament 3. senators 4. KTDA Directors 5. members of the county assembly. Lessan looked jovial that so far so good with his TEA BILL he is heading to the right direction. he is also happy that some of the directors are beginning to see sense in his bill. Moreover, Kobel factory soon will be having new directors. The main challenge is under representation of directors in our factory because weve many setlite factory while in the other parts of Kenya is the opposite. Bonuses last financial year went down because KTDA has so many cartels that needs to be cut down ie many government taxes, brokers, directors etc.
