Today, in the spirit of keeping it real: I have been prone to say, over the last 40 months, “I am waiting on God.” Perhaps you have also said this from time to time, or in a season of uncertainty or trials. About two weeks ago, I had a revelation that, in fact, God has been waiting on me. Enough of that waiting bullshit, HERE I AM WORLD; I HAVE ARRIVED! (Okay, so the exact moment was way more profound and brought me to tears, but you get the gist.) I am reminded by something His Grace Archbishop, Desmond Tutu said in his keynote speech at the United Way National Conference in 2008, “God wants to boast about you.” I, along with some other pretty fabulous colleagues, had the distinct pleasure of hearing him speak. You, too, should hear his inspirational message (cut and paste this link in your browser and give it a minute to load): https://uww.adobeconnect/_a17179333/p76715748/?launcher=false&fcsContent=true&pbMode=normal We without God cannot, and God without us will not. ~His Grace Archbishop, Desmond Tutu
