Today is 1/1/15. Everything that happens is for a reason. I recently had something happen in my life that shocked and disturbed me. It affected my family and my income. It was something public and horrible that I did not deserve. I was left asking the Lord, like we all do, Why? As I prayed about it and asked for Gods understanding, it became more and more clear that it was for a reason. It pushed me out of my comfort zone to take risks in faith for a new life that fills my passion and uses my talents. It also shows others that when you are faithfully sharing what God has done for you and are being blessed for it, you are glorifying God. He always has a reason. It just might not fit in your current narrative. Philippians 1:12,14 Now I want you to know, brothers and sisters, that what has happened to me has actually served to advance the gospel. And because of my chains, most of the brothers and sisters have become confident in the Lord and dare all the more to proclaim the gospel without fear Prayer: Father God, I know you have a reason for what is happening to me. Open my eyes to your understanding. I trust in you. I lay all my worries at your feet. Take them from me. You are in control. Anoint my talents and bless my endeavors.
