Today is 11th november 2013,with this fews words everyone who knows my links with hearts of oak can easily predicts what am going to talk about.Because every 11th november we celebrate the day which this football club was formed.Accra hearts of oak was formed 11-11-1911,so we are 102 years today.Before i will continue i will first congratulate hearts supporters who made sure that the head coach David Duncan is still at post,there is more issues with respect to that but i don,t want to comment on that now because i know that ACCRA HEARTS OF OAK IS FOR SUPPORTERS AND NOT ANY INDIVIDUAL.Now back on 102 years celebration i say on this day that we mark 102 years of existence in our football history,there is no doubt that we have chalk successes,exemplified by the winning of several laurels on the domestic and international scenes. the memories of our conquests of the entire continent in 2000 and 2001 are still fresh in the minds of many Ghanaians and the phobia fraternity because of dignity and honour we brought to ghana.We can recollect with fond memories how we destroy continental giants like Al Ahly, Esperance, Zamalek to win the Caf Champions League and SUPER CUP, I cannot hide my joy but to join the rest of phobians to celebrate this 102 years of existence.We also beat our arch rivals Asante Kotoko to win the mainden edition of confideration cup which is till fresh in my mind.On the local scene Hearts had numberless achievements which would make it daunting task for any to number,making us the best in Ghana.102 years of existence is no mean an achievements as many have come and gone, but the great oak tree has survived all manner of turbulence, whilst creatig an indelible mark in Ghana soccer history.I also want to remember everyone who in divers ways have helped this club up to date,former players, administraters, coachs, management members, hearts ladies, current players, supporters, the rest is endless.Let us honour those who have pass away, may i crave your indulgence to up standing where ever you are to honour these heros and heroins of our darling club, ACCRA HEARTS OF OAK.At this juncture , phobians i have singular honour, privilege and joy to declare 102 years celebration of ACCRA HEARTS OF OAK.
