Today is April 1st, it does happen to be April fools day, but what isnt a joke is that is also marks the first day of Autism Awareness month. Since getting this teaching position, I have learned so much about life in general, children with autism spectrum disorder, and about what it takes to be a parent or teacher of kids with Autism. I will continue to do all that I can for these kids because they are truly remarkable souls and deserve it! I thank the goddess everyday for this beautiful opportunity. If you know someone who has or is affected by Autism, reach out to them, tell them or their families you love them, because sometimes all it takes to lift spirits is a reminder that you CAN make a positive impact, and that you are making a difference. Take life day by day, if that seems too hard a challenge, hour by hour. Too hard? Minute by minute, because every moment counts.
