Today is Ash Wednesday. The beginning of Lent. I considered giving up wine for Lent, but I worried about the financial strain this would put on the vineyards and might just actually cause global instabilitily. So I decided to give up Cokes instead. Almost as hard. The other thing Im giving up is excuses. In my profession I listen to excuses all day long. I get REALLY tired of it. None of us are perfect. But thats our own fault. No one elses. So Im going to try very hard not to make excuses or blame others when I fail. Admit failure. Resolve to be better. No excuses.
