Today is August 8, 2014 Verse of the Day -- Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through Him who strengthens me. THOUGHT FOR THE DAY You can do nothing of value on your own. MINI BIBLE STUDY FOR THE DAY It is quite an experience to allow God to work through you to accomplish His will. On the other hand, its humbling to have begun a work, apart from God, and see it fail. We must continually seek to have God control His work through us. The Bible says: . . . those who are in the flesh cannot please God. —Romans 8:8 . . . apart from Me, you can do nothing. —John 15:5 However, when God lays a burden on our heart, regardless of the magnitude, He can accomplish it through us—IF we allow Him total control. . . .
