Today is Bereaved Mothers Day. Honoring all moms who have experienced the loss of a child in any way. I, along with so many others know this pain. Almost every time I miscarried someone inevitably would say with cheerful eyes, at least it was early and you know you can get pregnant. No one wants to hear that by the way. I do not look at Cj as a prize for going through compromised fertility and miscarriages. Like a consolation for my efforts. I see Cj the same as every baby I carried regardless how brief. A gift that changed my soul. A story of trial, grief and hope.
